Tomorrow evening the UKBA are planning a mass deportation of Nigerians on a specially chartered flight to Lagos on flight number PVT 009 at 23.20 hours.

At least three people from Glasgow have been detained in the last week to be put on this  flight. One of these is a man who has lived in the UK for almost thirty years. Another is a student at Glasgow University who has lived here for seven years and is about to start his final year of his degree. The three are now in detention centres close to London. People from other parts of the UK have also been detained by the UKBA to be put on the flight.

UNITY is calling for a protest tomorrow morning outside the UKBA centre in Glasgow where the enforcement team who detained the three are based.
