Friday 8th May, Public Meeting, Glasgow

At a time when much of the media has been using the economic recession to attack migrants and immigration it becomes more important now than ever to spell out alternatives to current trends in immigration policy.

As author of ‘Open Borders - the Case Against Immigration Controls’ Teresa Hayter has a long track-record of campaigning against the current repressive immigration policy of the UK Home Office and in particular she has been active in the Campaign to Close Campsfield since the immigration prison was opened, near Oxford, in 1993. She is also one of the authors of the No One Is Illegal manifesto.

We are therefore extremely pleased to announce this public meeting Unity has organised for Friday next week. Please help us by publicising it amongst your friends and networks. Thank you.
